Back to Reality

I know it has been a decade since my last and only post.  For the last 2 weeks my big brother was in town visiting.  It was so nice to see him and spend time with him.  It was the first visit since my twin brothers funeral... so some tears were shed.  Today my sister and I dropped him off at the airport.  I hate goodbye's... After he departed I was in need of retail therapy.  Got some shoes and a shirt :)  Anyhow, it was so great for him to finally meet my daughter Madison (he met William previously at my grandmothers funeral).  He spent time with the kids and bonded with my husband.  You know the boy stuff... shooting guns and history channel....

We really didn't do much but hang around the house.  My family is easy and laid back.  We don't need to go out and spend unnecessary money than needed.  I cooked every night and always had a bottle of wine on hand. :)

I am feeling pretty down right now since he is gone.  Since my twin passed away my family and I have grown so much closer and I hate the fact that I live so far away... My sister lives in Columbia but it is still about a 45 minute ride between our houses :(  Needless to say I sure do miss my family.  I am sure many of you can relate.

My daughter has recently been transitioned to a toddler bed and helps herself in and out of bed whenever she pleases.  Lately all she wants to do is sleep in mommy's bed... And did I mention that she slept great in her crib????  She would go to bed about 8:30 p.m. and sleep till 8:00 am.  What the heck was I thinking???  Now she is in my bed with either her feet in my face or her wet pee pee diaper in my face.  yuck.  So ya, I've been tired all the time lately.  I am seriously thinking of putting her crib back together.  William on the other hand is doing better at night.  He's sleeping in his crib and only wakes up for repositioning and a binki fix.  However, he takes minimal naps during the day.  Oh I cannot wait till my next vacation!

Well Back to Reality!  Work Saturday and Sunday, and full time mommy, wife and betty crocker Monday thru Friday!

New to the BLOG WORLD

So I am not exactly sure why I have decided to start blogging.  Maybe because I am a stay at home mom Monday thru Friday with no hobbies that are kid friendly..lol!  So I figure I would give it a shot and see if this is something that I would enjoy.  For those that know me, I am not much of a computer person and would rather the whole pen and paper thing.  But I thought that this would help me in the technology world!  So here I go!

I am 27 years old, married, with two kids.  My husband Chris is in the construction industry and I am a Registered Nurse (on the weekends).  Life as I know it... is perfect (not by correct definition).  I recently (5 months ago) had a baby boy (William).  His sister Madison is 2 years old and is a ball of fire and keeps me very busy.

Well that is enough for now since the kids are waking from their naps and I have my best friend and her family coming over for BBQ sandwiches, wine and gossip!!!  Will post more soon.
